What About Dogs?
We love dogs!
Church Farm has become synonymous with welcoming all sorts of dogs who are lucky enough to holiday with their families. As dog owners ourselves, we were acutely aware that many places that advertise as ‘Dog Friendly’ are in fact better described as dog tolerant. They accept dogs on the premises, but that’s where the welcome ends, and the endless lists of do’s and don’ts begin. We also noticed that it was often the ‘tired’ accommodations, which were reserved for accepting dogs, while the well-appointed luxury properties remained dog free.
At Church Farm we like to do things a little differently. We know that people who bring their dog’s on holiday, want their accommodation to be every bit as luxurious. We pride ourselves on the level of cleanliness and décor, that mean it’s impossible to tell if we accept dog’s or not.

As dog owners, we also know what makes a stay away with your pet easier and more practical. With this in mind, here’s what we provide to make your pet’s holiday as enjoyable as yours:
- Each accommodation has an enclosed garden/patio, secure for dogs (fence is solid and over 5ft high)
- A short walk to Fern Field, a lovely 7 acre paddock for dog walking (Please note this is not fenced)
- Warm wash down hose
- Dog towels
- Dog shampoo
- Dog bowls
- Chukka and balls for the field
- Treats on arrival
There a are a couple of things we do ask in return…
- That dogs are a minimum of 8 months old not left unattended in the accommodation. If dogs are left unattended we reserve the right to ask guests to vacate the property.
- As much as dogs are very welcome to take their place on the sofa with a throw, should you wish you bring some with you. We do understand not all guests are dog owners, with this in mind we do ask that your pooches stay off the beds please.
Supporting Local Dog Charities
Unlike the majority of accommodations… we do not charge for dogs to stay. We do however have a dog rescue charity that we support. Dog charities do such a wonderful job and rely solely on donations, we therefore do ask that a minimum donation of £5 per dog is made to our chosen charity at the time of booking.
